I took my GMAT the first time two weeks ago and score 580 (Q50, V19, IR 7). If necessary I will take it again.
I have 8-year work experiences in a local bank and have spent all my career in B2B sales. The only thing I can really talk about is that I have been #1 sales in my company twice in the past 8 years. I am going back to school so I can move into management sooner. As for extracurricular activities, I am currently the Chairman of a local NPO with about 350 members.
I am thinking about either Tepper (if I can get in), Weatherhead (two-hour commute from my city), or Katz.

Since your questions are really about Admissions, you might want to post them to the Admissions Consultants on this site:

I can't offer much advice on any of the Schools that you named, but your GMAT score is considerably lower than the Average GMAT Score at Tepper, so a retake is probably warranted.

Q50 and IR7 7 talk for superior quantitative skills and certainly for an intellectual capacity to significantly improve verbal. Why do you think you got such a low Verbal score ? My opinion is that you lack very basic skills that if you learn you could easily improve from 19 to at least 15 which means a score in the upper 600s, one that will make you much more competitive
