Hi guys,
Gave my gmat today and scored a 700 (Q48, V37, IR7)
Well, I'm disappointed with quant as I was consistently getting 50-51 on my practice tests. I panicked in the last 7 quant questions as i just had 5 minutes left and guessed through most of them. I know if I retake the exam, I can push 48 to 50 or, on a good day, to 51. Verbal was as I expected. Even on a retake I would most probably get the same score on verbal.
But the thing that I'm confused with is, is the retake actually worth it? Would a school that doesn't accept me at 700, accept me at 720, or vice-versa. Is the 20 point difference actually worth the retake?
I'm aiming for MBA in Information Technology from a top 15 bschool. There is abundance of information for specializations such as marketing or finance but not much on Information Technology. I could only find this online:
