What should I do?I feel with a better preparation I can definitely score more than 710.But I don't want to go to the centre again with a good amount of prep and fail at acing the test.
Did the GMATPrep on which you got a 760 include any questions that you were already familiar with?

With a 710 under your belt you can easily take the exam again (and again, if you want :)) without worrying too much about anything other than the time and money involved. If you feel another attempt won't take too much away from your applications, a little bit of revision followed by exam packs 1 & 2 could help you decide just how close you are to the score you have in mind.

That is exactly what I was thinking.I already have a good score so I should not worry about scoring less in the future. The Gmat prep in which I scored 760 had no repeat questions. After this test I was really confident of scoring atleast 730-740 in Gmat, but ended up with a 650 the first time.

The thing is, I got a 710 without any prep for 1 month.Only thing that was different was that I was relaxed and at ease while giving the paper.Plus the top US and Indian colleges have an average Gmat score of 720-730.A score above the average would definitely improve my chances of landing a top MBA program.

Your plan looks good. You'll feel better going in with a string of high scores on your GMATPrep tests. Just remember that it's not possible to "luck" your way to a 760 on the GMATPrep, so you are capable of getting that kind of score.
