Hi bb!

I wanted to know that what should i expect in the real GMAT exam as compared to the gmat club tests?i mean will the difficulty level be the same or lower and what would be my score range if i am scoring V30 in gmat club test for verbal.(also i missed 1 ques. which i was not able to answer because of some internet connection issues so how much should be the penalty.the ques no. was 32)
i am asking only for verbal as for quant i know that the tests are more difficult than the real thing.pls help as i dont want to have any false hope.thanks.

I hope you can fix the tests very quickly - I just paid for the package and did a full verbal CAT test only to notice 8 of 41 questions were duplicates -- I was running out of time and suddenly I finished the test with 15 more minutes to spare. The analytics dashboard wasn't smart enough to filter out the duplicates and in fact my score was lower than it should have been. My test is coming up in 3 weeks and I bought the tests after I had read some reviews, but it seems like I made a mistake.

Hi. Sorry about the issue - we are looking into it. It looks like you took the old tests.

Hi,

I have a questions with regards of the GMATClub packages.

If I buy the magoosh premium package with the GMATClub tests (150 USD), are those GMATClub tests the same as the GMATCLUB-Only packages (80 USD for 3 months and 100 USD for 6 months)? I believe the questions are the same, but the only packages are adaptive while the ones with magoosh or e-gmat are not.

I am asking this because the "Computed adaptative test" category is checkmarked in all of them, but in the question mark it says that with the magoosh and e-gmat packages you get the "linear" tests instead of the adaptative ones.

Thanks!

Where are the questions sourced from? Are they original content, or are they "borrowed" from other sources (Official Guides, Manhattan, Kaplan, Veritas, Princeton, Magoosh)and reproduced/re-shown here?

Hi,

thank you for the product - although it feels the scoring algorithm has yet to be refined (as noted elsewhere above), the questions themselves are excellent and helpful.

Question: It seems any question answered incorrectly for the first time remains in this pool (of incorrectly answered questions) no matter how many times I answer it correctly after that. Is there a way to change this? It comes up when I want to make a quiz out of incorrectly answered questions, but I want to use only those I never answered correctly.

thank you

Hi. Yes. That is the case at the moment. It should be updated and changed early next week so that the subsequent correctly answered questions overwrite the status of originally incorrectly answered questions.

If I'm not in the Q40 range yet (just below) - is GMAT Club tests a good investment to practice questions, or is this meant for people trying to go from +47 to Q50?

what is the difference between GC tests and forum tests that come with the premium membership? Thank you in advance.

I assume it is the analytics portion but just want to be sure.

Hi. The difference is that with Premium Membership you get access to the forum that contains all of the questions in a forum browsing format.
It includes questions/explanations but not quiz engine or test engine or the analytics.

Can I ask about the scoring on your test? I missed two questions, TWO, on the entire verbal section (one 600 level and one 700) and I got a 39. Which seems unbelievably low.

Excel help needed.
Guys just need a help. From 2 days I am searching how to convert a sum to time. I am unable to do so.
In the error log,I have A1,B1 and C1 columns. I am adding these in D1 to get my overall time. but it is showing in decimal addition. Like 44.77 . I want it to be 45.17. I am not able to do so. I think I am wasting a lot of time just for this. Please help me if you can.

We have just added a new feature - Forum Discussion is visible in the question explanations in its entirety.

We have always offered a link to a question discussion but it was not always very visible - now we are going a step further and bringing in the entire discussion of the topic into the explanation area of the question (explanations are visible after you take the question OR if you are taking the test in study mode). Please note that some questions have no comments (there is a discussion topic dedicated to the question but it has not received additional comments from users) in this case, you will not see any discussion and only a button to post your question/reply/comment.

Welcome your other ideas/questions/suggestions for the GMAT Club Tests.

Very helpful bb! Thanks for attending this request.

Now, we only have to make sure that the link to the discussion brings relevant information with at least one Expert Post. Of course, a similar participation of a moderator, like the outstanding participation of Bunuel should be applied to Verbal question to guarantee the same quality. Otherwise, we would risk contaminating a nice response from GMAT Club Test with nonsense and worthless discussion with further requests or answer explanations.

Hi everybody!
I just tried the GC free test; the clear and effective analytics and the detailed explanations/discussions convinced me to proceed and purchase the test pack. However, I still have some doubt I'd like you to dissolve for me!

• Are you 100% certain about the difficulty level used to label the various exercises? Considering myself an under-performing quant scorer, I found strange to answer correctly to 700 level questions in a minute.
• Are the tests offered Adaptive tests? Do they work on the same basis as the gmat adaption does?
Is there any statistical evidence reporting some kind of correlation between GC test results and the final, actual GMAT score?

Anyway, nice work with what you have done! Everything's so valuable here!
