I have query. I'm taking my GMAT close to my application deadline date-- a week before the deadline. I will get an unofficial score report. Will that be enough? Does it complete my application status?

I had the same query into Goizueta admission team. Usually the admissions team provide a 1 week grace period post deadline to submit all documents. Hence you will have close to 2 weeks post your GMAT exam. Usually the official scorecard is ready in a week. In the interim the, you can send unofficial scorecard to admissions team, they might still attach it your records.

Harish,
In your schools, make sure you select Emory to be a recipient of the official score report. It usually gets delivered in 7-10 days. Once you give your GMAT, put in your score on the application and AdCom will verify it against the official report they receive. They won't ask you to upload the unofficial report anywhere.

If they don't get it by deadline day, send them an email once you submit that you have taken the GMAT on so and so date and they will receive the official report soon. I don't think they will have an issue with that.

However, make sure you send them the official report from GMAC.

Thanks for posting, it shouldn't be a problem. As advised above, the school will also receive your GMAT scores directly as long as you include the school in your list of recipients.
