Hi Adityasood7,

Thanks for sharing your detailed journey. It is amazing to see how you trusted TTP throughout your prep and ultimately achieved a 695 with a perfect quant score!

Your story shows how consistent practice with TTP’s structured approach and official mocks can transform performance and build confidence for test day.

Great journey it is!!!
Congratulations on a wonderful score!
Adityasood7
Hi everyone!

I started the GMAT prep in November 2024, and wanted to share my experience with everyone.

Initial and middle stages

In May 2024, I took the GMAT exam, with a month of self preparation, and I got a 605, which was quite disappointing for me. I decided I would need professional coaching, and realized TTP would be my best bet., after seeing their positive reviews online.

I am a working professional, and I struggled with work initially, but I made sure I completed all examples and test on the portal, during my 4 month course.

Final Studying Phase
After thoroughly revising my basics from TTP, and some self studying and practicing of official mocks, I decided to give my GMAT in June, 2025. I scored a 675 - which is a decent score, but still below my target score.

I again started revising my TTP notes, and gave another attempt on August 19, 2025, and finally got a 695 - with a 100 percentile in quant.

Test day experience in New Delhi was quite good, and I had some nerves - but wasn't too stressed, as I knew I had prepared well. In quant I wanted to make sure that I don't make any mistake in the initial few questions, and once I was confident that I had got them correct, I was psychologically in a better place to solve the rest of the section. Verbal has been a strong section of mine, so I was confident solving that. DI has been my weaker section among the three, and since my score was not improving significantly in TTP tests, I decided to maximize my strengths.

Recommendations
  • Don't be disheartened if your initial scores are not great, it takes time to build your routine and strengths.
  • TTP is a great source to practice from - I practically just relied on TTP for my quant - where I scored a 100 percentile.
  • Practice official mocks - always keep on supplementing your TTP material with official mocks, which will give you an idea about the depth required.

Feel free to contact me in case you have any questions!

Thanks for sharing and congrats on the great score!

Would you have done anything differently with regard to your DI section, if you were to go through the prep process again?

Hi, I scored a 79 on final test date. To give a brief about my prep - I mostly relied on TTP but supplemented it with GMAT Club and official DI review. There are very few good DI sources so use them cautiously.
apoorvarora19
Hey! Can you please tell more about your prep for DI?

Did you practice the questions from TTP, what was the frequency of the practice, how did you improve and what was your final score

Not really, I made some silly errors on my final test, but my DI score range was around 79-81 in mocks as well, so pretty much around that range only on the final day.

Can I ask how often did you practice? What steps did you take specifically?

I am a working professional,so tried to divide my time evenly between the sections (3-4 hrs per section per week). Gave tests, analysed mistakes and worked on them honestly.

Hi Adityasood7,

Congrats on your journey! Going from 605 to 695 is a huge achievement, and it’s clear TTP gave you the structure and quant mastery you needed. Your persistence and use of official mocks alongside TTP really paid off.

It’s great advice to not get discouraged by low starting scores. TTP’s step-by-step approach clearly made all the difference for you.

Would you mind sharing which resource(s) in GMAT Club that you used along with TTP and OG DI review?

Also in terms of OG, you only used the DI review but not the main OG (the one with all three sections)?

Thanks.

I used the DI directory and DS directory on GMAT club. Very good questions. I also used the paid GMAT club tests, the questions were a good practice for the final day.

I had used the main OG also, but the only issue is that the level of difficulty is slightly lower than actual test. But you can use it as.a base resource.
