The GMAT test center was pretty easy to locate using Google Maps. Once I reached, the staff guided me through the check-in process smoothly. All personal belongings had to be kept in a locker before entering the test room. The security check was quite thorough—they asked me to empty my pockets completely, so it’s best not to carry anything unnecessary.
I took the test in the order: Data Insights (DI), Verbal, optional break, and then Quant. My overall score was 675, with section scores of Q87, V85, and DI79.
Unfortunately, one of my markers stopped working right at the start, and that threw me off mentally for a bit. It affected my concentration during the DI section, and I definitely underperformed there. Apart from that small hiccup, everything else went fairly smoothly. The environment was quiet, the computers worked fine, and the staff were professional.
If you’re taking your GMAT at a similar center, my advice would be to stay calm if anything minor goes wrong—it’s easy to recover once you settle into the rhythm of the test.
Will be giving my second attempt soon.
