When can we expect the schools to share GMAT FE numbers considering the average GMAT mentioned on the class profile pages of most schools still reflect classic GMAT scores. Will it happen next year or is there a chance for the schools to suggest average FE scores?
Hi @divyutdebbie,

You have a valid point - however, it is too early for the universities to release the average GMAT FE score as its implementation happened only last year and a smaller cohort submitted GMAT FE scores.
For now, you can check the conversion approach which is not practical enough, but legit for now.

Are you planning your MBA applications for this intake? Why don't you speak to one of our MBA consultants for better clarity over your profile and GMAT FE score expectations.

Hey! It will take some time since the GMAT Classic was operational until July last year and a lot of aspirants opted for it. They will start publishing GMAT FE average once they have signifact number of candidates who have taken GMAT FE. Also, right now the schools are going by the yardstick published by GMAC and hence aspirants can just map it with GMAT Classic.

Its not even been a year since the main one has been phased out, so minimum i would presume that for 2025 intake well be getting accurate details
Here GMAC has given a very good comparison thogh, you can use it to draw a parallel, im sure all schools are using the same
Bascially 645+ FE is the new 700 now

Cheers!

It took b-schools several years (5+) to start reporting GRE scores. The GMAT FE scores could be coming in earlier as all GMAT takers will now have to switch to GMAT FE so they will collect larger data in a shorter time period. However, I'd assume applicants will have to wait atleast another 2 years before a sizeable number builds up for them to publish figures.
For now, use GMAC's concordance table

divyutdebbie  these are indeed delicate times. Whenever there is a change in any area of application/ exam, B-schools must first determine for themselves what they consider to be the new normal, and then this becomes clear to applicants. I know many applicants are using the GMAC report as a reference table to understand how the score on the corresponding old edition table may be perceived, but I just want to issue a word of caution for applicants applying at the absolute top of B-schools - if you feel there is room for improvement and your actual FE score is lower than what the mock exams told you, you should consider retaking. This is especially true if the quant percentile is not what you expected. For T25 and other schools, it does not matter that much and you may do just fine with the GMAC conversion table data.

Best wishes
