exercise 4: Using Other/Among

3. These pants don't fit well. Let me try (other/the other) ones.

In this sentence,both can be used because we don't know about general or specific pants.
Please clarify.

My guess

The difference between other and the other ones is that the latter refers to a specific pair whereas the first refers to any other ones.

- I picked two pair of jeans, the first pair didn't fit me well, let me try the other ones.
- The jeans I tried didn't fit me well, let me try other ones.

The last example is a little awkard but I hope you get the idea.

I have a question regarding the DRM of the book. I am working on multiple computers, one at work and a personal one at home. I am planning to buy an E-Reader too. Can I keep the copies on them? Or will the file be glued to the pc on which I have downloaded it?

I have done all 4 tests ,but either due to lack of knowledge on my part or some typos in the book,the answer does not seem to be righ. Below is the list and small description for Practice Test IV.Pl explain:
1)Except giving impression that he must not like spinach.(Is sentence right)
2)You might ought to include a self address,stamped envelope
3)is considered to be(can might ought come together)
4)because there was not any furniture and it was filthy(who is it?)
5)who had such a large amount to eat that(why not so that)
6)Therefore I suggest that meeting should be cancelled(can should come after suggest)
7)they thought that she must have had trouble with car( why not had had)
8) Tornado dtruck so suddenly and with such great force that(why not so that)
9)And a suitable climate which provide an ample supply of water & minerals from soil(does the sentence look sound)

Yes, you can use the link in the confirmation email.
It will ask you to reset the license, which takes about 24 hrs to do and then you will be able to download it again.
