Hi vfost906,

I'm happy to help. To start, can you paste a screenshot of your chapter tests page so I can see what is going on with your CR chapter tests?
I've went back and retook those quizzes but I'm still kind of struggling. I want to be at a point where I can get 95% if not all CR questions correct.

You're close. You just have to get a little better at understanding the implications of statements, analyzing the relationships between the answer choices and the passage, and eliminating trap choices.

The following post and video will likely help.

Don't be stressed and take one step at a time.

For verbal, ensure that you have practiced official book and review questions thoroughly.

Practice good questions and not too many questions.

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to study for the GMAT. I started in January but I kind of slacked off due life and work. I have a subscription for TTP and right now I'm struggling on some of the Critical Reasoning questions, specifically weaken and assumption. I have not been able to fully grasp the concept, I'm trying to put more hours in so that I can really understand it but I do no know if it is helping. I have a goal of trying to get in between a 700 and 800 and so I want to make sure I'm getting good scores on all the different types of questions and because of it, I'm getting stressed out and overwhelmed. Anybody have any suggestions or tips?

Thank you!

How would you recommend learn to understand the implications of statements? Currently, I've been really trying to push myself to do a bunch of questions on here and try to work through them. I've seen little improvement and sometimes it can be demotivating a little bit but I think I'm one click away from really being able to grapple with these questions.
