Okay here is a list of common idioms I have found. I am sure something like this has been posted. If so, here it is again. If you think something is missing post it and I can add it to the list (or if you see any errors). I think some of us underestimate the importance of common idioms. Many SC questions contain multiple errors, some of which are idioms. Personally I don't always recognize all the errors but sometimes I see an incorrect idioms, which either leads me to the right answer or helps me narrow it down further.

I have created an excel file that contains ALL idioms and its examples listed by crejoc (for more info, see crejoc's Comprehensive Gmat idiom list' post). Most of these examples have been pulled out of "Google" search and some of them have been framed by me. Feel free to share the list and notify me in case you find any error or wrong usage of any particular idiom.

Attaching the Idioms audio book and the print version documents

The below 2 audio books are recorded using Balabolka software. Content in both the files is same, except the voice used for narration.
Idioms audio book for the GMAT [David] [16 kbps].zip
Idioms audio book for the GMAT [Zira] [16 kbps].zip

The attached .docx/.pdf versions can be used for editing/printing.
The source file for these documents is from the post by jalaj79 on "09 May 2010" in this thread.

Thanks!

Can someone kindly provide a few examples using "same to X as to Y"? (I am not a native speaker.)

I find one example in the attached document in this post.

"Our pledge is the same to them as to our supporters"

Here, X and Y are just simple nouns. Is it the only way of using this idiom? In any cases, can X and Y be verb?

It will be great to see any OG examples for this idiom.

Thx for your time in advance.
