We would recommend postponing the test. There are many practice tests - including ones from GMATPrep as well as GMAT Pill - that you can test yourself on.

If you are not reaching your target score in practice, you cannot expect to magically reach your target score on the real thing -- unless you want to set yourself up for failure.

If money is not the issue, then suck up the scheduling fee -- that's a tough one to swallow - but perhaps it could have been avoided with earlier planning and foresight.

Once you take it - all future retakes will include all your attempts on the official score report. We honestly think you'd be better off postponing and doing it right the first time.

This is, of course, a personal decision so evaluate the pros/cons before you decide on something.

I think you should take it for the experience, but don't submit the score. At the very end, the computer will ask you whether you really want to go through with scoring; just select "no".
