Hi, I have scheduled the exam for April 2016. Anyone taking the exam around the same time? Can form a group and collaborate. I am in Domlur, Bangalore.

Hi ParmarKP,

Seems like you are starting on your GMAT prep. Looking for a partner is a good way to keep yourself motivated.
Keep the following things in mind during you preparation:

1. Understand the concepts and fundamentals before jumping into problem solving
2. Solve full length CATs including AWA and IR. You can get two free GMAT Prep mock CATs and can purchase two more from mba.com
3. Make sure you solve the official questions from the Official Guide
4. Make sure you follow a preparatory course. It may be a book, online course or tutoring. But make sure that you go through the concepts first

Thank You. Have started brushing up my Quant. Any tips on speed? Looks like I can solve most questions, but very few in the 2 min cap.

Hi ParmarKP,

Speed issues are not isolated. They are often related with other issues such as not knowing the concepts fully or not practising enough.
If you are not thorough with the fundamentals, go through them again. Post this, always make sure that your practice in timed manner.
Whenever you start a practise drill from the book, time it.
