Hey all, which study material you all are referring?

I am currently at score of 505, but all i have is GMAT official book. I do not have a dedicated material and plan. Any suggestions?

I have created an article on my approach to MSR - my-approach-to-attempting-msr-454391.html, you can check that out. I feel you are struggling with same type of radio button questions in both the formats. Quite likely, all these sub questions would be revolving around same dataset, so it’s always good to understand your target scope. And when you are initially reviewing the data, abstract some sort of relation b/w this data. There’s no harm in going back and forth b/w question and tabs but you should try your best to answer them within 20s. Always remember that the question would never be designed where each sub question requires 1-1.5 mins to solve because it would be practically impossible to solve that question under given time and GMAC knows that. So your job here is to figure out which of these statements you can quickly answer ie. under 30s and maybe one of them might be calculation intensive where you need a little more than 1-1.5 min, which is totally fine. So whenever you analyse the tab or table, learn to spot trends and leverage sorting wherever needed.

Like visualise your boss asking you to send him some analysis on a dataset in 5 mins, how would your mind operate? You want to operate in that zone rather than looking at these questions just from academic lens.

Hi @priiiiyyyy give the weekly plan a read. Materials are also listed there and for many OG Manhattan are enough additionally GC has a lot of mocks and forum quiz question banks. Use it as recommended. Hopefully this will be helpful

I’m not sure I would say Magoosh has the best material. In my experience, prep courses are quite subjective. My advice would be to try their 7 day free trial first and see if it suits your taste before buying the full package.

Hi Harsh,
I was going through the Week 2 schedule and wanted to clarify something. While navigating to the QA section—specifically the part where the practice sets are mentioned—I clicked the link and sorted the questions by kudos. This is how it appears for me.



I noticed that many of the questions were posted 3–4 years ago, so I wanted to check: are they still relevant?

Hello Shivam, I don’t think the age of the question really matters 😅. There are many excellent questions that are 5–10 years old. Don’t worry—if a question isn’t very good, you’ll usually find notes or explanations from experts or other users. However, that’s quite rare, especially for Quant. All the best!
