Hey best wishes. If you dont mind can you tell about how much is your sectional distribution?

Also start with verbal, quant and DI. If you feel DI could be sitched with Quant for better concentration, u can do so.

Hi guys. I have my test in 30 days. My current official mock scores hover around 645-655. Any tips and pointers on how to manage this last sprint of 30 days to bump up my score by 30-40ish points? My weakest section is DI and strongest is Verbal. And I know everyone has their own preference and methods of choosing section order.. but any insights there are welcome too. I have tried various combinations but nothing really feels fool-proof.
Hi, my 2 cents would be to first look for improvement scope on Quant. Check if there’s anything obvious you can rectify by doing targeted practice on easy/medium questions or by cutting down on obvious mistakes. You definitely don’t want to lose easy points there. Next, work on your strengths in DI instead of trying to fix everything simultaneously. Like if you’re good with Tables, make sure you’re getting as many of those questions right as possible, and then for the topics you’re struggling with, try to build a test strategy where you can at least identify the patterns on the easier questions and avoid making blunders there. If you go through the OG and DI Review Guide questions, you should be able to form a sound strategy for the straightforward questions across all DI topics. Use that to your advantage, and don’t hesitate to skip early if a question looks too difficult to maintain pace with the clock. Similarly math questions could be easier than non-math ones, so formulate your test strategy accordingly where you can get better ROI. From section order perspective, it might be good for you to start with Q or V to boost your momentum and based on how well you perform in DI ( either taking it second or third ), you can decide your comfortable order. Like if you are super comfortable with V, you can do Q/D/V but if your Verbal score drops significantly then it’s better to start with it and go V/Q/D, since in the worst case, DI might not end up impacting your score.

Hello - I have my exam on 13th July so it is advisable to give full length or sectional mocks or should I go through my error log and do practise?

My score is stuck at 525. I am giving tests on GMAT Club, but my score keeps hovering around this number. After searching, I found out that I should use the streaks method, revise my error log, and use efficient alternative methods. I'll try doing this for a few days.
What are the other things I should follow?

You can take one or at max two full length mocks. And it would be good to be aware about your careless mistakes through your error log, as those would be easy score boosters. You can also analyse all your official mocks too as a whole to understand how best to manage time and build a high level error log just out of these mocks.

One more quick query - it is advisable to take a full length mock 2-3 days before exams?

You can take one around 3-4 days before the test, but not too close, so the final mock score doesn’t affect you mentally too much.

Can you suggest something for DI as well? I am not able to increase my DI speed in the mocks. I am scoring below 80 and my target is around DI 82-84/

+1

Personally I’ve just started to binge watching DI videos on YT to identify tricks and tips that might help. But happy to hear other methods of improvement
