Hi everyone, I wanted to check how people are going about their DI prep? I’m struggling to go beyond D74-75. What material is most helpful for everyone?

HI guys, I am having problem with 2 part analysis what do you suggest
For the math-based ones, it’s usually helpful to set up equations first. That gives you a clearer framework and helps you narrow down which combinations of numbers could actually satisfy the conditions. You need to get quick at identifying such patterns and numbers which can work in pairs.

For the non-math ones, strengthening your CR analytical skills is key. It’s essentially like solving two CR questions within a tight time window, so clarity of reasoning matters more.

In short, these questions really test how well you can execute your Quant and Verbal fundamentals under pressure. I would advise you to break down your attempts, identify what’s causing the issues, and then work on those specific areas from there.

Hey Everyone @bb and other mods, What best way have you come across or seen to get rid of jumping straight into algebra and instead just reason with the question?
What strategies/tools are best to help with this?
I would suggest starting with a brute-force approach by setting up the algebra first. As you practice more, you’ll begin to notice shortcuts and more efficient ways to approach similar questions, especially by reading expert solutions and discussions on the forum. Focus on understanding the concepts first, and over time you will learn optimal strategies such as working backward from the answer choices or testing numbers to arrive at a solution more quickly. However, these methods tend to be more effective once you develop a solid understanding of when to use each approach.

Do we get a daily target practice plan here?
We will be posting updates every week. Hopefully, there’s enough practice to keep you busy throughout the week 🙂

Hi everyone, I wanted to check how people are going about their DI prep? I’m struggling to go beyond D74-75. What material is most helpful for everyone?
I still feel the OG Review Guide and the DI Review Guide are among the best practice materials available in the market for DI. You’ll find some great YouTube videos that explain key concepts, and we’ll try to share a few of them over the coming weeks.

I believe this area has the most limited practice resources. To be honest, I couldn’t find anything particularly useful beyond the official material

Anyone has any tips for improvement? I had a score of 555 (Q81, V77, DI 75) with 16/21 correct in quant, 15/23 correct in Verbal and 9/20 correct in DI (Quant score is apt, i was getting a similar score in tests, however I was scoring around V80 and DI 78 in practice tests. In verbal test anxiety definetely got to me and DI was much tougher than expected) Need to improve to 675 in 3 months.

I would say right now don’t focus on very timed practice rather than concepts get each concept clear
