1 set (3 questions) or 2 sets (6 questions).

For practice, I’d suggest to stick with Official questions as much as possible, although the number is indeed limited.
There are ~50 sets of official MSR questions under the source tags of OG, DI Review, EA and GMAT Prep combined. If that’s still not enough for you, you can go for credible 3rd-party sources, such as GMAT Club Test.

That’s the limitation of OG question banks - no possibility to filter by topic. You either need a separate "index" system that gives you question numbers by topic, or use the official question banks for mixed practice sets (can select difficulty level though).

For topic-wise practice, GMAT Club forums/question banks would be your best friend.

He scored 715 on the GMAT—but not in the way most people expect. Sidhharth started with a 595 diagnostic and initially assumed Quant would be his strength. But over time, he realized something important:

- Verbal accuracy and decision-making were making the bigger difference
- Section order was affecting how the test unfolded
- Trying to be perfect was hurting performance more than helping

In this conversation, he walks through what actually changed between attempts—and how that led to a 715 score.

Hi all, I am currently facing the issue that I am not able to do some 705-805 questions under 3 minutes, but when I do it without timer, I am able to do it. Any advice how to proceed in this case?

Better not panic about it. 705-805 level questions have been specifically placed to exercise your brain muscles and waste your time. Its okay to even take 3 mins on it, because there will be easier questions on the test too for which you’ll require 30-40 seconds to balance it out.
Just keep your basics right, speed will automatically improve, even if it doesn’t, the easier questions will more than make up for it

So I should keep on practicing them with timer or without timer?

hi, i have a doubt, are pie charts always drawn to scale in gmat? I recently watched 2 videos both from popular gmat tutors and one said they are true to scale and other one said the opposite. So, should i calculate everything or just consider it to be true to scale?
