The size of the question bank for test one and two is significantly greater than for test three and four as well as five and six. You’ll get a much greater variety of questions in those first two tests.

However the scoring algorithm is adjusted to match and compensate for the lack of variety in the question bank so while you may not hit as many harder questions, the scoring should be still accurate. So if you feel it was too easy, that’s good! At the same time it may have been not the most realistic experience.

While I cannot speak for the third party tests, I did see a drop in quant difficulty for tests 3,4,5,6. Maybe this is because, as bb had stated earlier, the question banks are smaller, however, from my experience, the scores in the paid tests have been pretty accurate.
Both my attempts were within ten points of my last gmatpreps (tests 4 and 5).

Hey guys,

I have a similar feeling - I first took the official mocks 1,2,3 where I scored 680 680 660. I shifted to manhattan mocks to practice so I don't waste any more official mocks and when I attempted the 4th one I got a 770 which well felt rather easy.. I will take another one to check if the score is consistent but how can we check as to which score is the best indicator of our ability?
