Hello, I just would like to ask a question. It looks like GMAT Online doesn't have the AWA section and to me, the admissions people would put more weight onto the 3 sections then. Nonetheless, I think it would still be advantageous to take GMAT Online. Is it possible to schedule a GMAT online exam at any time or only at a designated time just like the traditional version? Also, is there any difficulty level difference between them? Let me know your opinions.

GMAT online is available 24 hours a day. You can take it at 3o’clock in the morning if that is what your heart desires 
There’s not supposed to be any difference and since the test is adaptive, no difference in difficulty but we have seen people take both tests just a few days apart and score sometimes higher and sometimes lower depending on the test.
PS. AWA Does not really matter and is not really taken into consideration by the admissions. It’s simply a sample of your writing. Do you want to do well and not attract any unwanted attention with a low score but it is not something that plays a role in admission. .

Well, from my experience I can say that GMAT online was a lot different from the GMAT at the test center. I felt that difficulty level of questions was higher, I would say- experimental. Later, I took 2 tests at the test center and I felt the test was more like the official mock exams. I am not sure if someone had smilar experience, but I advise that you take the GMAT at the test enter if you have such option. 1) You will have longer breaks between each section 2) You can get unlimited amount of scratch paper, earplugs, pens etc. 3) No one will disturb you in the middle of the exam. In my case, a lady supervising my exam wrote to me on chat (she thought I have an "illegal" item) and I found it really disturbing.
