GMAT or GRE

Question

Hi,
How should I choose between GMAT and GRE. If I plan on applying to LBS, ESCP, St. Gallen and NUS for their MIM program, which is of more value and weightage. Also how do I choose between a TOEFL and IELTS.

Fr the schools of your choice, GRE seems a better options than GMAT. You can also use your GRE score for many other programs in schools that do not offer traditional MBA programs but techno-managerial courses as you are eyeing for MiMs.

Hi MuskaanShvani,

First of all you need to confirm that your desired schools equally weigh the GMAT and GRE. If they do, then the next step would be to determine which exam may be better for you. To do so, you should take a full-length practice GRE and full-length practice GMAT.

So, first  familiarize yourself with the GMAT  and  GRE  and then take  an official practice GMAT  and  an official practice GRE .

Once you see how you perform on each of those exams, you should be able to better determine which test is right for you.

IELTS is considered more easier than TOEFL. So, you should go for IELTS. If you want to study for TOEFL, you can watch ''kenton county ESL'' videos from youtube. They are perfect videos for TOEFL.
