Hi All,
I recently attempted 2 GMATPrep mocks.
In the 1 st test, I scored 740 (V38, Q51)
In Verbal, there were 9 mistakes.
In the 2nd test, I scored 680 (V31, Q50)
In Verbal, there were 8 mistakes.
How is this possible that when I did less mistakes in verbal, my score went down from V38 to V31? I understand there could be a scenario where a string of my questions could have went wrong, but tht's not the case here..
Is there a fault in the system? Has anyone else noticed a similar issue?
Or is there something that we are missing out with the new release ?

Although there are a lot of things about the new platform that need to be improved, it is not uncommon to see different scores with similar accuracy levels. Keep in mind that the GMAT is an adaptive test, and that the score depends on a lot of factors (like question difficulty) and not just on the number of questions correct.

Is new GMAT Prep buggy?
