GMAT prep - next steps ahead 16 Apr 2020, 03:21

Hi Guys,

Today i took a e gmat Sigma X mock and got 640 (q48, v30). I m from India and a non native speaker

following were the challenges i faced-

1. quants - spend way more time in solving 16-24 questions leading to only 10 mins left for last 8 questions

2. verbal - though have completed the e gmat course for SC and CR but i m still solving questions based on intuition and guessing instead of using grammar logics. On RC i m not able to comprehend passages completely and taking too long to read the passage.

I m targeting GMAT in next 2 months with target score of 760 (q51,v42). Requesting you all to recommend strategy going for next 2 months.

In case anyone is planning to write exam in next 2-3 months. Will be glad to remain connected personally to leverage on each other's prep.

Thanks a ton in advance for taking out time to read my case and helping me with yr suggestion.

Hi, that is so great to see that you have taken a course from e-GMAT. I am aware that the meaning based approach to problem solving of theirs can be a little tricky

Don't worry. I am happy to look into your case, please feel free to PM me with more details, I can provide you all the guidance you need personally. Also, even Q51V40 is 760, depends on which questions you hit :)

bkevin97 :- Have you gone through MGMAT SC and Powerscore CR Bible yet? They cover almost all the aspects of SC and CR that you might need. I will be happy to have sessions together at times. I am targeting to write GMAT as well as soon as the test centers open. So ping me/pm me and we can discuss further.
