Hi!

I have my GMAT this week and I did a GMAT Prep.
How war your real GMAT score compared to the practice test?
Was the real GMAT quite difficult compared to the Prep?

Thank you in advance!
;)
The GMATPrep is an excellent indicator of what you'll encounter on the actual GMAT. It can't simulate test pressure but it is very close to the real thing. What are your scores like?

Hi javiercr,

GMAT PREP is one of the most accurate indicators of how will you perform on your actual GMAT, though not a perfect indicator.

I have met several people who have scored the same score on actual GMAT as on their GMAT PREP Test, while a lot of them have scored ~ 10-20 points higher or lower on the actual GMAT.

However I have also met people who have scored ~100 points lower on their actual GMAT. The reason for this was that they did not simulate the actual testing experience. This involves taking too many pauses in the middle, taking breaks longer than 8 minutes, not giving the AWA and the IR section etc.

If you have taken the GMATPREP simulating the real GMAT, there is a high chance you will score either same or ~ 30 points higher or lower on you actual GMAT.

Hope this helps. All the best.

Well It depends you state of mind is same on actual gmat vs when you tried mocks. As in my case I was scoring good in mocks but actual gmat flunked (minus 100 points) as I didn't maintain the momentum (timing) on actual GMAT leading to guess last 7 or 8 questions.

I didn't sleep well before the exam (re-take), and my real score was lower than GMATprep scores. So, sleeping well before the exam might be very helpful :)

Im aiming for 650 and the exam is 3 days away, my last mock was 660 but it was taken after the whole morning driving and the night before not getting enough sleep (6 hours) so fingers crossed that I will score 650 and be done with GMAT. Reading this thread has given me much hope
