GMAT Score Delays & Administrative Reviews - Share Your Experience

I have seen a dozen topics about delayed GMAT Scores and Administrative Reviews. I would like to put them all into one topic so we have a centralized place of wisdom and experience for these type of things.

Tips if your score is delayed:

Contact GMAC's US phone line. Do not call your country support since all score reviews are handled in the US (thank you @Karanbb1)
You can apply with a score that is delayed since bschools don't check/verify them until after the application has been submitted, and usually much later than that.

Dear all, I compiled here all the tips that I found while browsing through social media, GMAT club and the personal experiences of some of my friends in order to avoid administrative review. I am sharing this to benefit all my peers out there also looking to make the Round 2 deadline and are planning a retake. As experiences have shown, administrative reviews can happen even in the most innocent of circumstances . They don't have to be a case blatant cheating. Putting these items in mind will ensure that you get a score in time and avoid getting delayed in Round 2 if you are planning a retake in December as a result of an administrative review (which takes 20 days and even more). With deadlines fast approaching, this could prove difficult and may push you to make Round 3 (if the school won't allow exceptions) and Round 3 is not the best time to submit for most people. Never (or at least avoid) cover your mouth while answering. This a common response when thinking but have heard of cases where this gets flagged. Simulate this in the mocks too especially if you are the type to do such a cognitive response Always insist to show the back and front of your whiteboard after the test, even if the proctor does not ask. (by far the most common issue that I saw). Argue with the proctor if necessary and do it yourself. Avoid technical issues as much as possible. Technical issues about internet connection that would result in you being gone from the camera in the middle of the test could automatically put your session in administrative review even if you did nothing In relation to 3, it seems best to do the AWA-IR-Q-V section order. The AWA and IR could be used as a test run and if you encounter issues here, the score is less likely to be put in administrative review. You also get to test your internet, gear, etc (helpful if you are doing the GMAT online for the first time) Avoid looking at one area (except the screen of course) all the time. My friend likes to look out his window to the right to clear his mind when thinking and this got his session in administrative review (he eventually got cleared

Quick update on my 40+ days delayed scores...

I was finally able to reach US customer care on the phone, and they said my scores were still being reviewed. Fortunately they are not under administrative review, but they couldn't give me more details on why it was taking so long, or when my scores should be available. My case was escalated to the scoring team.

I'll post any additional updates I get.

GMAT Online Test Date: 22nd November 2021.
25 calendar days, 18 business days.
No Administrative Review. 
Still waiting for score reports. 
GMAT Helpline is useless.

Took the GMAT Online test on Nov 27. Not flagged under review.

It has been 20 days, 14 business days. Have called GMAC twice and emailed them once. The only response I got was they could help to escalate my case and I need to wait until 20 business days. No reply from the email.

Don’t know what to do. 😭

Got the test last Sunday. It was hounded by issues and it was sent for administrative review. I agreed with their findings since there were technical problems with the exam. Thankfully, I got a refund 4 days later. Will be taking a test center one before Christmas!

I think it is best that people should just speed up the process by admitting the technical issues, filing for a refund, and taking the test in a center.

I received my offical results for my second exam yesterday Jan 01st, I passed it on Nov 06th... 38 business days later...

Thank you. That is apparently the mode of operation for GMAC. They don’t email anyone. I believe everyone who found out the results, found it online themselves. 😢

Guys. Just a quick update.
Got my official online scores today. (After 46 calendar and 31 business days)
I missed my deadlines yesterday but as there are some changes in career plans I'll be shifting my Masters' plan to next year/forthcoming years.
All the best to those waiting. If you've not cheated, you'll get the scores!

They do not generally mail.
But I called them up to thank a guy called Leo. 90% of my calls were answered by him and he escalated my issue multiple times. 
It was kind of gratitude call from my side. After the call, he replied to one of my open tickets by closing the ticket and mentioning that the issue has been resolved and I can view my scores in my account.

I had one question too. Can I use my five free reports now for schools that I'll be applying to next year?

Yes, you should be able to share the scores with business schools at a later point in time.

Before the online version of the test, you had to choose your schools during the test at the test center. With the online version, they allowed applying to an unlimited number of programs but then removed this benefit in October. Unless they, GMAC, Make further changes, you should still be able to report your scores to five business schools at some later point in time

I think you misunderstood my question. 
My question was can I use the free reports  now   to send my scores to programs to which I shall be applying in the upcoming year/years within the score validity period?
Or do B-Schools need a score report in the particular admission session?
