ISB 'might' extend the timelines to submit the scores till October. You'd need to submit a proof of the appointment while submitting the application and ISB will consider on a case-to-case basis. No official communication has come out yet.
Suggest you stick to your current plans for now. I'll try to find out at my end as well in the meantime.
Appreciate your patience, ISB will do the best it can!

Cheers,
Manan

Just wondering how did you know about this before yesterday's session. Was it communicated in a webinar somewhere else?

Hi workout! I heard from one of my friends that this was discussed in a webinar too. The operative word here is "might". I recommend that you stick to the current plans unless there is an official communication from the school in this regard

I think it was mentioned in passing on a webinar but I had posted because they did the same with YLP so just thought could be a possibility.

Update: For ISB, you have to submit your application by Sep 20. To submit your Gmat/Gre later, you can write to ISB with the screenshot of your Gmat/Gre appointment (date has to be on or before Oct 31) proof. After the test,top-up this mail with the actual score and application number. In the application, you'd have to add a dummy score.

This arrangement will also work if you already have a score and wish to re-take after 20th September.
ISB will evaluate the rest of your application but will fully assess it for the next stage only after you share the score.

An update from ISB

Quote:
Dear Candidate,

Trust that you and your families are staying safe and healthy.

We understand that given the ongoing situation of the pandemic across the world, many of you are finding it challenging to be able to take the GMAT and GRE tests by the Round 1 deadline of September 20th, 2020, due to limited availability of test centers and the issues with internet bandwidth at home.

This being an exceptional year owing to the unprecedented crisis, we are pleased to make an exception and are extending the deadline for test scores submission to October 31st, 2020. Such an extension would be granted on special approvals by the admission authorities on a case to case basis, on your request. You should be able to substantiate your request with a screenshot of the confirmed test schedule date notification. This is how you should proceed post the approval:

1. Submit your application by EOD on Sept 20th, abiding by the stated deadline, along with the application fee. At this stage, in the score section, fill in a blanket score as 800 for GMAT and 340 for GRE. (This is in case you do not receive your test score on or before September 20th, 2020)

2. Post your scheduled test date, please share your unofficial GMAT/GRE report to [email protected].

3. In case you are not able to submit your test scores maximum by Oct 31st, we will transfer your application to Round 2.

Please know that we would be conducting rolling interviews, and therefore, an early submission would get you an early decision on your candidature.

We wish you all the best for your application. Once again, stay safe, stay healthy!

For all communication in this regard, please write to us at [email protected].

Best Regards,
Team Admissions
