When are you guys planning to take exam ?
Mine is scheduled for 15th May
Still stuck at 625 in mocks, hoping to get a way better score.
Any suggestions/ advice to stretch some score in last few days?
My strategy will be reviewing the entire log from start to finish 🙏, hopefully it’s a hard reset to refresh the mind. Depends on what you’re getting wrong. Mine are 60% interpretation errors (which should be a quicker fix)

Hi everyone,

I have 6 years and 9 months of professional experience as a Consultant with the Ministry of Environment, Government of India. For the past 16 months, I have been on a career break due to childcare responsibilities. I’m now preparing to re-launch my career and am planning to take the GMAT in September 2025 with the goal of joining a top-tier business school in India for the 2026 intake.

I would appreciate insights on:

What would be considered a competitive GMAT score for top Indian programs like ISB, IIM Lucknow (IPMX), and SPJIMR?

What are the acceptance rates or chances for candidates with my profile—strong public sector experience and a recent career break?

Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Hi,
I have my GMAT exam in 1 week. I have been doing Mocks everyday from expert global and analyzing my mistakes. I getting a score of 575 on expert global mocks. Gave official mock got 615. Aiming for 675+. I’m comparatively strong in quant compared to other two sections. I’m not sure what can I do to further improve. Please provide suggestions.
Here are some things that might help:

1. What are the mistakes you’re making? Conceptual Gaps? Silly Mistakes? Timing issues( I figured how how to solve the question but too late)

I am all up for giving mocks but giving them without analysing each mock and working on the weaker sections is useless. I know you have a week left, but it’s still 56 hours rights? See if there is some common pattern that is impacting your score.

2. See if anxiety, or test taking performance is affecting your score. I am horrible with standardised tests, so having a game plan helps.

3. Lastly, breathe!!! GMAT is a pathway to better things in life but not the end goal. Stressing about the exam develops this weird irrational fear which affects you more than anything during the D-day. If you do well, amazing! If you don’t, go back to the drawing board!

Hope something from this is helpful to you or anyone about to give their exams! All the best:)

And most important - click submit for the very last answer. The timer ending won’t automatically submit the last answer. You need to click submit to end it

Idk if it’s common knowledge and I missed it stupidly

But yeah
Yes, it’s a small thing but I know it matters! Thanks for the heads up:)
