I got V90 - my approach was
1. To make sure i am able to complete the questions on time
2. I practiced mock verbal questions - making a paper of my own. So like selected some questions of random topic and medium level.
Eng. honours?

Quote:

Plus I would suggest to not stress on the thought that high level questions need to be solved.
nah I m just solving CR at that level coz I find it fun

not stressing around it, just making sure I don’t lose track on OG reasoning, but V90 is a great score! You should put in your inputs more often here

What i found is that other source questions were unnecessarily hard and away from the questions actually asked...

My personal opinion...

My Rc is tight at a 90% accuracy, CR at 75-85%, my previous mocks reflected mistakes on 2 705 and a 655 CR plus 1 605 slip. Give me precise advise on increasing from 86 to 88

Yea, replica of the verbal section is still a gap most test prep companies hv to fill in.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for 2–3 motivated peers preparing for the upcoming December/January GMAT attempts. The idea is to plan and prepare together and keep each other accountable.

A bit about me: I have previously appeared for the CAT (India) and scored 98+ percentile. Ideally looking to connect with someone who is already midway through their prep.

If interested, feel free to DM.

Thanks!

Hello,
I am getting mock scores on gmat club mocks in the range - 665 - 675. Can I expect similar result on actual exam?

Any tips for CR / RC assumption type questions? Or anyone who has found any sort of explanatory video which explains precisely how to solve the same?

Im finding it difficult to understand how exactly im supposed to go around it
First, identify the conclusion of the argument and the assumption you want to test. Then, negate that assumption by expressing its logical opposite (without making it extreme or unrealistic). Next, see how this negation affects the argument: if negating the statement weakens or destroys the argument, it means the statement is a necessary assumption; if the argument still stands, the statement is not essential. In short, when the negation of an option makes the conclusion fall apart, that option is the correct assumption.

Or u can also see gmat club yt video where harsha taught assumptions question that would also helpful
