How do you go from 80th percentile in quant to 90th?

A great way to improve your quant score is with topical

For example, let’s say you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.

After each problem set, it's crucial to delve into the questions you answered incorrectly.

For instance, if you stumbled on a remainder question, take a moment to reflect. Was it a careless error? Did you fail to apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that eluded you? This analysis is key to your learning process.

By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant topics.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Good luck!

What should be a good strategy for someone who has 3 weeks left for their exam? I am aiming for 715+ and getting 685+ on mocks (not OGs). I have all 6 OG tests left. And plan to utilize them now.

You will see your score at the end of the exam.

The score will be visible within a few days on your account, which means they are reportable/official.

No

You actually can't touch your phone at any point in time during the test center test. Even if you finish your test, get a 705 and take your phone out of the locker to text your friends about it, you can get your score canceled for that (silly rule but the point is that no touching notes or phones while you are inside the test center). Also, lots of things are forbidden at the test center.

If you are taking the test at home, you can go into another room and do whatever you want 😂

Hey guys, what’s the best way to make sure that you are not making silly / avoidable mistakes? I had a mock today - 1 wrong in quant, 4 in DI. In which 3 were attributable to silly mistakes.

Sit and think and analysis

What went wrong during that time

Write it down and make sure next time don’t follow that things
