I am from India and I can't use my passport as of now to apply for GMAT. Can I use the PAN Card? Or Aadhar card?

Hey kyro ,

As per the rules followed in India, you are NOT allowed to appear for the exam without the passport.

So, you have to take it with you with no other choice.

The GMAT website doesn't specify a pastor for India but. They say only an id proof which shows your photo, name and date of birth. That's why I am clarifying.

You can always call the centre and confirm. The website states the standard rules but it also mentions somewhere that applicants from certain countries need to carry passports to appear in the exam. Indian applicants belong to the list.

Hey kyro ,

As per my experience so far, they are not going to allow you to appear for the exam without a passport.

If you have any doubts, call your local Exam center and confirm.

Hi kyro,
In almost all countries except the USA, the passport is the only id proof that is accepted.
In India, I am pretty sure that only passport is accepted.

Passport is mandatory. I had a bad experience regarding this. No matter what, take a valid passport.
