If x and y are the positive integers, Is x>y?
1) \(x^2 +12 = 13......x^2=1....x=1.. or.. x=-1\)
x is positive, so x=1...
Nothing about y-- of course there is something and that is ' y is a positive integer', so \(y\geq{1}\).
Also as x is 1, the lowest possible positive integer, it will never be GREATER than any other number..
Is x>y?......NO for sure
