Hi,
This is bothering me, need help here.
I asked recommendations from two people whom i have worked with.
After submitting the recommendation, they downloaded the copy and sent it to me.
In that i i find, that both recommendations are fine but there is one paragraph of three lines which is exactly same in both recommendations. The lines talk about my promotion. I am not sure what happened.
What i want to know is what issue can it create for me as a candidate. This school has no option of cancelling recommendations.
Will they suspect any wrong doing and reject my application straightway or they might call them and ask to clarify?
Any views on this would be appreciated.

When you say the paragraph is exactly the same, does it mean that is 'word by word'? what is your relations to your recommenders, supervisors, peers,.........etc ?

Yes, word by word. Just three lines. One is my direct supervisor and other is his colleague. May be they exchanged 'points'. Otherwise, the two recommendations are completely distinct.
