I'm not doing ANY work these days. My wife even told me she was disappointed with me the other day, that I was doing so little. Truth is, I've been getting straight A's all year and I've pretty much decided it wasn't worth it -- I missed out on too many events. Last quarter, I tried not to get A's and have more fun, but I ended up them anyway. So this quarter I'm scaling further back. My courseload also lends itself well to this kind of setup -- one of my classes I'm taking Pass Fail -- another class 50% of my grade is decided by the VC firm I'm working for, and another one of my classes has a take home midterm and a final group project. That takes some of the edge off. To be fair though, I really really need to buckle down in investments and prepare for the midterm next week, and that take home midterm will take a lot of time - probably 10 or 15 hours... So, on balance, its a bad thing that GTAIV is coming this week.

GTA IV - Got my copy reserved. I just got a voicemail from GameStop that I can come pick it up at midnite tonite. Thank god I don't have much work this week.

I almost regret not doing in store midnight lanuch pickup, but given that I'm almost 30, I kind of felt too dorky standing in line next to the 13 year old pimple head. I figure I'll hide my dorky shame by having it delivered. I cant !*@#!*#@ wait.

I may have to avoid GTA4 especially considering the time drain Rockband took on my winter, especially since GTA4 looks like a lot of fun and a big upgrade from the last one.

So who's played this so far? I think everyone in my office thinks I was out drinking last nite.. Little do they know what I was playing GTA4 till 5 in the morning
