Hello,
I am having time management issues in Verbal , and i have now prepared as much as i could
I have come to conclusion no matter how i attempt , I will be left with 4-5 Question towards the end .
My score till 28-29 question is around V38 , which then drops to V34-V35 due to successive mistakes . Additionally in block 3 of verbal i loose accuracy too looking at the clock and knowing that i'll have to guess last 5.
Given right amount of time to attempt my accuracy is around 75% , so i want to employ a skipping strategy - so all the skips are not towards the end .
If any expert can suggest , or provide articles written , debriefs of students in similar situation it will help a lot .
What i plan to do is : Skip 1 Q in 15-20 , Skip 1-2 in 20-28 , and Skip 2 in 28-36. I have planned this as per how the algorithm behaves .
My Q type timings are approx : SC - 1:50, CR - 2:15 , RC - 2:10.
I plan to take 2-3 mocks with this strategy and take the exam in 8-10 Days .
Please forgive me for not being polite but the Guessing strategy of any expert will be as good as yours. In fact, if you devise a guessing strategy for your weak areas then it will be more effective than anyone else's suggestion.
You already have an idea of what fetches more penalty when guessed at the wrong place so you should think about where your accuracy is the least and time consumption is significant. Just guess them.
You know this point as well that you need to guess in the third quarter if the timing is not in your control (which is not abnormal). Just guess those that you get often wrong even after spending apt time on those questions.
I hope this helps you gain confidence in your selection of guess questions.
All the best!
