Hi,
I'm giving my exam on June 2021 with self preparation. I attempted the free mock exam and I saw that both my quants and verbal are weak. After giving the mock exam, I started with my quants preparation from the very basics and now I'm a little confident on that part with a rise in accuracy and able to grasp what and where did my answer went wrong, but I'm a little worried about my Verbal portion as even after following the guidelines on how to solve RC, SC and CR question, the accuracy isn't rising. I'm targeting a minimum score of 720. Should I consider joining an institution or is there any other way to deal with it that I can follow as I do my self preparation?
Also, I saw a video on Gmat Club wherein the instructor said that RC and CR question will be doable only when you've developed a reading habit on a daily basis, there isn't any shortcuts to these questions. How strongly do you believe this?

In my opinion, it is true that if you have not bee an avid reader RC, CR could be a real trouble for you and might need a lot of consistent practice to achieve a first quartile score; However, it is not impossible to master if you are consistent and show perseverance in your preparation
