Good Luck guys! I think the only other thing I plan to do today besides staring at my phone is to keep refreshing this page....keeps me a little sane to see ppl as anxious as me
If you want to keep your mind away from all of this, then I have a better suggestion...
1. Check gmatclub
2. Check your status on EWMBA application portal
3. Check the inbox of the email you provided to the adcoms
4. if you still can't get your mind off the impending results today, then start again by doing the above steps every 5mins..

I am sure the above algorithm would help you relllaaaxxxxx.... Oh Wait.

Try to avoid the vodka until tonight. I'm sure this will be one of the longest days in your life. :-)

:)
one last Q packet before we start the day... how many folks do you think will be given admits today? Assuming the acceptance rate, R1, R3, etc...

Well, it's not like I have any specific insight in to what the adcom is going to do. Be prepared for the eventuality that they only call R2 admits today and everyone else, including WL gets to wait until tomorrow though.

Logically, since R1 was so small and R3 typically isn't huge, the bulk of them should be now. The school has a pretty good idea of the makeup of the class. So, there's no reason not to.

i've wondered the same. i think it really really depends year to year. in fact, it really just depends on how stellar the RD2 applicants are. If less stellar than the waitlisted folks, all of us are going to Haas!

I doubt that would be the case, everyone is equally good out here... I am sure with all the update/work all the WL folks have submitted prior to 1st March, we have made the adcom's job even more difficult for R2...

Yes, that seems plausible that only R2 applicants get called today. There sure will be a lot of happy phone calls to make.

That's what they get paid to do and what you paid $200 for them to do.

I certainly wouldn't try that :)

Hi all,

I decided to jump in the fray too.

4 years WE in accounting. GMAT - 720.

Can't wait for the elusive phone call :)

Good luck to all!

In other news, it looks like Stanford released results yesterday. So, there may be an influx of people that applied to both.

Well, it's a good thing Peruvian police don't run adcoms then.

Question: Are the application fees deductible? Will we receive 1098-Ts?

No, they're not:

What tuition and fees are deductible? Tuition and fees required for enrollment or attendance at an eligible postsecondary educational institution, but not including personal, living, or family expenses, such as room and board.

From:

https://www.irs.gov/publications/p970/ch06.html

The good news though: Since you're working full time and potentially going to a part-time program, tuition and many travel costs are straight up deductible as a business expense.
