I would greatly appreciate your advice!
I'm a nontraditional candidate who wants to make a significant career change. Into what, I'm still working out. I'm in California and would like to return after school. Having a strong alumni network is important to me, but so is not being in a crazy amount of debt. I will pretty much be reliant on loans as I don't have assets to cover the cost.
I have positive feelings for all the schools I was admitted to.
Haas: really like the culture and feel. I wouldn't have to move and maintain a separate apartment from my partner--this is a cost savings. Does the Haas brand carry outside of the West (asking in case I ever want to relocate)? Don't know yet about scholarships.
Cornell: offered me a full-tuition fellowship. Connected well with the people. Concerned about strength of alumni network in the West as well as the ease of recruiting for an internship and job in California.
Kellogg: obviously a great school--enjoyed my campus visit. Don't know about scholarships yet.
Yale: had a great campus visit experience. Didn't receive any scholarship--I don't feel compelled to pay full freight when I have such a generous offer from Cornell.
Thanks!
