Hi all,

Had my GMAT date on 12th Dec initially.

I was told yesterday by my boss that I will have to go offshore for 40 days from November ending to Jan first week. So had to pre-phone my exam date to Nov 21st. Just 14 More days to go. I called up the customer care, as I was having problems online. The lady was surprised when I said, I wanted to pre-phone my date.

Have been preparing in a planned manner for 12th Dec. All seems to be topsy turvy right now. Very much worried. Have been doing decently on the Mock Cats. Below is the Split.

GMAT Prep: 680( V35/Q47)
GMAT Prep: 720( V38/Q49)( Got few repeated q's. Tried the test some 3 months
back, got 580, and off late took it a week back)
800 Score : 640 (V35/Q43)
800 Score : 650 (V38/Q44)
800 Score : 660 (V33/Q45)
MGMAT : 620 (V30/Q46)
MGMAT : 640 (V35/Q43)
MGMAT : 660 (V33/Q47)
Kaplan : 640 (Forgot Split)
Kaplan :680 (Forgot Split)

The above are my latest scores. When I started off initially, I was in the mid 550 range. Developed gradually.

I am aiming for 720+. What do you people suggest. I am really worried. Need some moral support firends.

don't worry praveen. . i think your scores are great and you can surely reach your target. . Just relax and worry not. . Your state of mind will also determine your score. thats why bb thoughtfully included the "how well do you do under stress?" parameter in the score calculator. So be confident.
As they say
"If you think you can, you probably can.
If you think you can't, you most surely can't"

Praveen i wanted to encourage you cuz i sincerely believe you can. Kaplan is considered one of the toughest tests and you scored 640 and 680!! That speaks volumes my friend.

Just to be sure that i don't miss your debrief, i'm gonna follow you. .

I think youre averaging around the late 600s. To be assured of a 720 on the GMAT, you need to make sure your CATs are aligned at 740 or so. I don't mean to be a wet blanket but I wouldn't take the score for granted. I advise you to take a fresh CAT. Maybe the MGMAT one and note down your weaknesses and focus the time you have on improving those. Last week, take a test every day or alternate day at the same time your test is scheduled and with the AWA. Makes a difference.

And if you've kept an error log now would be the time to review it. If you haven't then start keeping one based on your CAT scores and performance. The last couple of weeks is all about mastering the finer aspects.

Thanks for the advise. Unfortunately, I haven't kept an error log, but i have marked out what all questions I have got wrong, till now, in various sections of various prep material. Plan to go through the ones I got wrong.

Have been analysing the CATs I have already given. Looks like I am messing up the DS and CR. Working on it.

Yeah, planning to take a week off ebfore the exam and crank up a few of the remaining MGMAT and Kaplan tests.
