Hi GC Members,
I am an international candidate with 4 years operational experience in O&G equipment industry (Fortune 500). During the last year, I set up and began operating an equipment trading business of my own. I require an MBA to : 1) learn the subjects required to run a successful business and 2) Network within the US in the equipment industry. This bring me to my short term goal: To find an marketing role in O&G or heavy equipment manufacturing company in the US.
While researching online, I could not find many companies hiring MBA candidates from business schools, other than the likes of Caterpillar / Cummins.
Please can you shed light on equipment manufacturing companies that recruit in business schools? Looking to get all your valuable feedback and create a thread for future aspirants heading along similar lines

I think those will be the big players you have identified above. John Deere and General Electric also recruit as well at some of the top midwestern programs like Kellogg. I would take a look at the recruiting reports of these school and see other companies that fit this description. Whether they hire and droves, top programs can help with placement in companies like this

I think an MBA will help you in any commercial function in this industry, whether you’re on the buy or sell side.
