Hi, you have not mentioned your nationality and that is a strong aspect to understand how you compare with the average applicant profile from your country and whether you would add something extra to the diversity of the cohort at these MiM programs or not.
Decent profile overall, do highlight the value you created for the companies at each of your internships and your job stint and the rewards/appreciation you received.
Try to compensate for the low GMAT score with the diversity card (if possible, this factor is seriously undermined by most applicants)
Best regards

Hey, I am planning to apply to MiM program ESSEC, HEC, ESCP, emlyon and EDHEC for 2022 intake. I want to know my chances of getting an admit in either of the schools.

My profile is below:

Tier 1 University, double major in French and Economics, 3.7/4 GPA

1 formal work experience:-
at L’Oréal for 1y3m as management trainee and marketing executive

3 internships:-
1st one at Beiersdorf NIVEA for 3 months as Sales intern
2nd one at IBM for 3 months as Marketing intern
3rd one at Kellogg’s for 8 months as Marketing intern

1 international exchange experiences:-
University in France for 1 semester, 15/20 GPA

2 extracurricular events at college:-
1st one as coordinator for intercultural event at EU research center of my college
2nd one as head of Public Relations for international LGBTQ film festival

GMAT:- 660
Toeic:- 970/990
French:- DELF B2 (fluent), top 5 highest score in my country

Please help me evaluate my profile and let me know if there is anything which I should (or could) improve on. I’m really nervous because of my low GMAT…

Hello nicogreatcc, you have a strong profile and your work experience is a plus point, not to mention your command of the French language. However, your GMAT score is low.
For you to get an admit in HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Emlyon or EDHEC you would require a GMAT score of 700+.
I would recommend you to retake your GMAT in February or March and prepare to improve your score in the month of January so that you can apply as early as March just in time for Round 3 deadlines.
Do highlight the value you created for the companies at your internships and your jobs.
In the meanwhile start preparing for Essays, SOPs, resumes and other admission requirements.
Your GMAT only holds 25% weightage, you need to make a strong profile and work on your GMAT to get your dream admit.
If you need help with your application process and how you can improve your GMAT scores, we at MiM-Essay can help you with that.
If you would like we can set up a strategy session with you according to your convenience.

Hello nicogreatcc,

We are not sure about your nationality. However, we do not think you have a low score if we are to consider schools such as Emlyon, EDHEC, and ESCP. Generally, these schools are not sensitive about GMAT requirements. However, if you are targetting the league of schools such as HEC Paris, you must definitely work on your GMAT.

Good to see you have worked with some reputed multi-national brands. Ensure that your essays duly represent this rich experience and link the same to your career goals in an appropriate manner. An improved score and a set of well-written essays will give you a strong chance.

All the best!
