hey! Attended the interview for em lyon and hec. Was admitted to both of them (lyon first waitlisted).
Had some problems with wrong address so my interview was only 20 minutes. Some talk about me, some about france, economy and so on...
had a quite bad feeling after the interview but was admitted anyway. No need of french proficiency (if you aren't able to speak, stop it).
business dress ... good manners ...not too much self confidence. Theres nothing more u can do.
To the size of the classes: at hec most of the seats are for french students which attended the classes preparatoires. and only 40 or 60 are for internationals.

Hi,

I have an interview with SAI for HEC and ESCP in the next 2 weeks.

I am wondering if anyone can clarify two things for me:

1. What exactly does a discussion on my knowledge of current business affairs entail?

2. Do the interviewers know which schools i have applied for and will they ask specific questions about why I have applied to those schools as opposed to France in general.

Speaking of HEC Paris, here's what I found on their French website as to the size of the MiM class:

which means that for the total of three rounds, they have 200+ seats for students admitted through SAI.

I was invited to the interview to HEC and ESCP in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The interview was on April 11th.
I think there was one other guy from Brazil.

Tips: Just be yourself.

The interview was pretty much what people have said here before (why France, why MiM, past experiences, general economy) They asked me questions in french, saying that to live in France it's important to know some french..

I have interview call for all SAI member schools. I got into EDHEC Business School but want to try for HEC.
Interview is on 3 May 2013. Can anyone tell me what all documents we have to carry? what do they ask in current business affairs?

Also, can anyone comment on how is EDHEC business school's MiM (BM)?

Hey everyone,

My interview is pretty near, 23rd April, I opted for all the schools. Any tips and suggestions about the interview would really help. Specifically, do the interviews go in depth when asking about why mim or why a specific school?

Is it just me or is the wait til the end of May agonizing? :( Does anyone know how many merit scholarships they (HEC, ESCP) give out or is this wishful thinking considering the state of the French economy? :|

Hi Guys,

I recently got selected in HEC Paris Grande Ecole program. I had a few queries regarding the program. It would be really helpful if you could answer them.

1. How are the job prospects after graduating from HEC?
2. Would it be a good decision to go to Paris, given the financial crisis in Europe?
3. Now that the Visa regulations have become more stringent, how difficult it has become to land up in a job (both in France and outside, say UK) ?
4. Is it easy to get internships in the gap year?

Kindly reply soon as I have only 3 days left for my confirmation deadline.

Hey guys,

I just took the SAI interview something like 2 weeks ago and am in pain everyday waiting for the results to be released at the end of the month :/

And @MN1311,

I already got accepted to the Msc in MKT Program at HEC and they did offer me a merit scholarship of 2000Euro - not much but scholarships are still available I suppose. And I did hear that someone that got admitted to the HEC GE Program in the first round was offered 6000Euro merit scholarship.

Don't worry, it's 90% likely you'll get in! At least 10 of those admitted were admitted to HEC too

Hello Everyone,

I am in a fix here. I have a GPA of 6.2/10 but my GMAT is 740. I have been working for Tata Motors Design for the past one year. If some one can shed a light whether i am eligible for HEC MIM or not. And if i am what are the chances of getting in.
