hello, how many official mock tests should i want to take? anyone know?
Hi SAMARjack123

There are a few mocks that you can take for FREE and list of those mocks is in my signature.

I recommend anyone to take about 10-15 mocks before taking the final exam. Mocks help us getting prepared for the battle that we are entering into and offer us a chance to improve our learning and focus on the gap areas.

There are 2 free (to be taken as 4 tests with repetition)
and 3 paid tests (to be taken as 6 test with repetition)

So you have 10 total tests to take which I recommend everyone to take to be sure. While GMATCLUB tests are also good I just prefer official tests over any other mock tests avilable.

I hope you get your way from this.! :)

The answer is ...... .it depends.

Good practice exams are the most scarce resource (along with your time) in the new GMAT Focus reality.

There's no point burning official exams during your early days of prep -- you'll have concept gaps that will make it impossible for you to answer many of the questions. Better to use alternate sources like GMATClub Practice Exams to bridge that gap.

Most of my high performing clients take a minimum of 4 official practice exams all in the later stages of their prep (as they're getting closer to test day). They save 2 for a potential retake (although number 6 is bit iffy and you can reset the first few and get few repeats especially if you've moved your score range up by more than 50 points).

Hi SAMARjack123,

The good news is that there are six official practice exams, each of which can be taken twice without repeating questions, effectively giving you 12 practice tests. Aiming to complete all six exams at least once is generally a good goal, but ultimately, it depends on your performance. Some people may need fewer exams, while others might benefit from taking more.
