Hi all,
Started my retaking journey on March 19th (past score 640, Q46, V33) and have been studying religiously for 2-3hrs on weekdays and 5-7hrs on weekends (total hrs till now 61). Have signed up for e-gmat course (4month) based on reviews online and have been following the modules but those have been really lengthy and time consuming especially for quants.
I decided to ditch half way through number properties and start Verbal as I was spending way too much time on quants (spent about 25hrs total on their quants basic refresher and 1/2 of their number properties module), and I think verbal is a relatively bigger weakness for me. Have been going through the sentence correction modules (so far put in 10hrs for just verbs topic from SC) and scoring quite low on their quizzes. Not sure if I am making any progress overall in my studies even after spending multiple hours on subtopic. Wondering if anyone has had the same experience with e-gmat? Should I just do the OG verbal or still continue with e-gmat?
Any suggestion on what am I doing incorrectly or could do better? Anyone who has taken e-gmat course can comment on their experience? Their study plan suggests ~2 weeks for each topic but so far their modules with explanations doesn't hold that timeline. If I follow the modules to the T then there will be no time for any practice questions or mocks as most of the time will be spent on the platform.
Any help would be appreciated. My target is to give exam by June end and aiming for Q49-50 and V36-38.

First of all Kudos to your decision of retaking the exam.
Indeed E-gmat's course is very lengthy. You can skip most of it, if you don't have concept problem.
Just do the their diagnostic test and then if score is good jump to practice test, if that score is also good then go on to next topic.
But more importantly try to do maximum amount of practice questions from their scholaranium platform and quizzes, which I made a mistake and doesn't did much. Remember ultimately quizzes will gonna help you out, you will made mistake in question, learn and improve.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) On what date did you take your Official GMAT?
2) How long have you studied in total?
3) During your prior studies, did you use any of the Official CATs/mocks or just the Kaplan ones?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.
