Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help me with a good strategy on how to tackle SC questions. I always ended up spending too long (and wrong) on SC.
Since you know that SC was your weakest section, I assume that you would have worked towards it.
1. Did you follow any preparatory course/boon for the SC section?
2. Have you completed all the questions from the OG and the Verbal review?
3. How have you performed on the mock CATs in SC and other sections?
The SC questions test you on certain fundamentals and if you keep in mind about the following things while you solve the questions, you can easily crack it.
Start off a question by finding the subject, the more onto the verb. Post this, you can move to modifiers and parallelism. Also knowing the differnce between usage of certain words - like vs such as, if vs whether, less vs few etc. will help.
The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you.
