Will schools update you profile to let you know if you're invited to interview or you're rejected? Or do they only let people know who can interview.

For every school that I applied, they provided a notification of rejection to applications on the same date as acceptances/interview invites. The process varies a bit school to school. Do you have a specific program in mind?

Yea I applied to 12 schools. All the ones that dinged you plus more. It sounds like a lot but its round 3 and I put tons of time in each.

Well, for the schools we have in common, they should notify you within 24 hours of when interview invites go out. Good luck!

Hi tensecondtom,

While most schools send a notification email to the rejected candidate or update the decision on the application portal, a smaller number of schools may not communicate the news of rejection at all. In case the interview notification date has passed, you could always email the Admissions Committee with your query.

Happy Applications! :)

Most of the posters here have given accurate answers, but I am curious - how does this influence your application choices?
