How is 800 Score mock test

Question

Hi All,

I just gave a test on the 800 Score website. and was pretty surprised to see the score. I scored a Q46 with just 9 questions wrong (4 wrong in "Hard" level, 5 in Very hard level and my graph ended in the "Very hard" area )

Similarly, for verbal I scored a V25 which is surprising given the fact that I have always been scoring V30-V35.

Are these tests accurate?

Don't be disappointed. These tests fall into the tier 2 category, even for the tier 1 tests, it's difficult to fall in line with the official GMAT- it's scoring pattern, algorithm, the symmetry of questions, etc. I'd recommend you to take official GMAT practice tests, these tests are by far the closest representation of the actual exam.

Dont take the scores seriously, the non official mock tests are nowhere close to official mocks. Just make a note of the questions you got wrong and learn from them and move on !! Good luck !

Have you given an official practice test? If not then I would advise you to give one because official practice exams must be used to check your current level. Use the practice exams by various prep companies only for practice. Also, there are some tests which you should not even give for practice. ... I hope you get my point
