Statement 1: If Jason's average speed for the trip had been 3/2 times as fast, the trip would have taken 2 hours.
Distance is constant Let, Distance be D, Speed be S and Time be T
D = S*T = (3/2)S*2
i.e. T = 3 hours
SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: Jason left his house at 7 a.m. and was 1/4 of the way to Glendale by 7:45 a.m.
1/4th Distance travelled in 45 mins
Total time to travel whole distance = 45*4 = 180 minutes = 3 hours
SUFFICIENT
Answer: Option D
