Statement 1
X can be any value between 15 and 34, there by not giving any particular answer to the question stem.
Not sufficient

Statement 2
X can be 2 values, 22 and 33.
This will give 2 different answers to the question stem.
Not sufficient

Combining both the statements will again give us 2 values, 22 and 33

When substituted in the question stem, will give different values
7 < x < 22, 5 prime numbers
7< x < 33, 8 prime numbers

Even combining both the statements is not giving us a definite answer.
