Hello,

I´ve been studying the GMAT for a while now. I´m planning to present in 3 weeks. I have just done one official practice test and scored 630.
How many more official practice test would you recommend me to take?

From my experience, You should go for quality over quantity. Do an in-depth analysis of your mock test. You have to identify your weak areas and work on it until you reach your desired subsectional ability. After that, you can give another mock by simulating the test conditions.

Hi cartiro

I can't recommend a certain number, but only one is not enough.
Try several mocks till you are confident that you are time managing the test as best as you can, and till you find that the results are consistent.
try several strategies as well, such as random guessing ro smart guessing some of the questions to gain extra time for the rest.

But I can confirm that practicing several mocks already improved my performance without any extra study except the questions I got wrong in the mocks.

sirivel, i have concern regarding this mock test. Could you please help me in knowing which test provider is actually equivalent to GMAT?
not to take into consideration GMAT Prep.

J2S2019, I found that e-GMAT sigma mock test is indeed helpful.

Hi cartiro,

There’s no particular requirement as such, but it’s good to take around 6 to 10 tests prior appearing for GMAT.

Also, GMAT Prep mocks are the best as they’re the closest that can come to original GMAT. So try and give all of them.

You can buy other tests, else Manhattan, Veritas and most others give free mock. You can take that too.

Do analyse all the tests diligently with error log.

I recommend doing only a "few" number of quality mocks, e.g., the official ones. As soon as you achieve your pacing and accuracy skills, let go of mocks. Use the time to strengthen your fundamentals.
