Thanks a lot.....It means if some university ask to convert %age into GPA and my %age is >60 then equivalent GPA will be 4.0..... ?

No, thats should not be the case. Do go through the post linked by ConnectTheDots. The crux is to convert by conversion system mentioned by the college themselves, else avoid converting it.

Personally I think converting anything about 60% into 4 CGPA is too much.

You dont have to convert anything..Adcom knows very well about Indian grading system.
