I seek your kind advice and assistance I took the GMAT a few months ago and scored 630 (V31 Q47). I did not have enough time to prepare last time ( roughly about 40 days) since I wanted to apply before a uni deadline with my GMAT score.
I have scheduled a GMAT exam 3 months from now ( Mid dec) to allow myself sufficient time to strengthen my weak areas.
One section that I really struggle with is SC. I have read the GMAT club forums and bought the Manhattan prep. I already had the original guide 17. I just do not know how to proceed with so many grammar rules?
1. Should I solve the OG questions simultaneously while studying the Manhattan prep. Or do I do the question after wards? I feel There aren’t enough qns on the Manhattan guide, though the content is pretty good.
2 . Whats the best way to prepare for the Verbal section in terms of study planning? Should I focus on one section for eg: SC for a week and the move on to RC and CR ? Or should I study each topic on alternate days?
Thank you all in advance.

I think all you need has been written in quite excruciating details here
As far as doing OG questions along with Manhattan SC Guide, it is definitely recommended and will for sure improve your score further. All you should try to do is to practice the question section-wise ( If you just finished SV agreement, do SV Agreement OG questions and likewise). You can do so here on gmatclub itself. Just select the relevant tags here and you should be good to go.
Hi RB95! Since you mention SC as your specific area of concern, thought I would mention that our sentence correction book Sentence Correction Nirvana is perhaps the only book that offers a score improvement guarantee, and is especially designed for non-native speakers.
After reading the book twice (yes! it's an academic book, and so must be read twice in all seriousness, to reinforce the concepts), you will start looking forward to solving SC questions!
The book is available on Flipkart and Amazon.in. You might want to refer to these sites, to also read testimonials of how readers have benefited.
See here how Mohit, who scored 750 on GMAT, vouches for our book.
If you want to sample a chapter before deciding to go ahead with our book, please PM me your mail-id (along with the chapter that you would like to sample) and I will be happy to send that chapter to you by mail. In addition, the entire Grammar section of the book is also available for free preview at pothi.

Hi RB95,
Welcome to GMATCLUB! I recommend that you go through the concepts before you move to the OG. OG questions are very important source of practice and ideally must be used to solidify your concepts further.
Further I recommend taking practice test after you are done with your concepts to track your progress. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.
Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practice tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.
I would also encourage you to purchase the GMAT official practice questions fro mba.com for some great additional practice. Further you should also consider LSAT Questions for some great RC and CR practice.
Lastly, you can check out a very interesting article by Mike McGarry from Magoosh detailing a 3 month study plan
